The v1.4a Device Controls were created to allow JavaPOS v1.4 based implementations to avail themselves of the new functionality introduced by the Java Configuration / Loader (JCL).
With the release of JavaPOS v1.5, a new set of Device Controls will be issued superceding this v1.4a version.

Using the "unzip" command on non-Unix systems you must also use the "-a" option, which autoconverts the java text files to CR/LF.
